Maywood PTSA 2.6.40

The Issaquah School District is partnering with Costco to put on a vaccine clinic for children 5-11 as soon as approval is given. This is all in the planning stages at this point, and until official approval is given, timing is in flux. The hope is to launch the clinic very quickly, so volunteers are getting lined up now.

Volunteers will greet people, given them information sheets about the vaccine, show them where they need to go, help take temperatures, check them in etc. Costco will handle all vaccine administration and other medical support. Because this clinic is for younger children, there may be a lot more anxiety on the part of the participants. All volunteers need to please bring their empathy and patience to their volunteer time. All volunteers need to be at least 16+ years old and there are limited spots for teen volunteers per shift.

Please go to the link below to fill in your name and email for any/all dates and times you are willing and available to volunteer at the clinic. There is a plan A and plan B depending on approval timing, so only ½ of the dates will end up used, but contingency planning is needed in order to be ready as soon as the vaccine is in hand. Confirmation regarding the plan will be sent to everyone who signs up.
